Ligier Group EZ10 Gen 3 Incident

Prior to the crash, on August [XXX], 2022 autonomous shuttle (MNCAV2, V005) for the Med City Mover was travelling southbound on [XXX]. in autonomous ADS mode. The vehicle was functioning normally prior to the event in autonomous mode. At 16:23 CT, the shuttle entered the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX]. The shuttle experienced an unknown e-stop. The vehicle behind the shuttle was following closely and attempting to pass the shuttle at this time and hit the rear left corner of the shuttle. No injuries reported to the two passengers on-board the shuttle or the operator or other vehicles two passengers. Seatbelts were used by the shuttle passengers at the time of the incident. 911 was called and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety was dispatched to file a report.
