HYUNDAI Ioniq 5 Incident

On April [XXX], 2026, at approximately 4:42 PM local time, a Motional autonomous vehicle [XXX] was traveling southbound on [XXX] approaching [XXX] in Las Vegas, Nevada. While proceeding within its lane of travel, the vehicle encountered a piece of concrete debris located in the roadway. The vehicle subsequently struck the debris, resulting in a punctured front tire and damage to the vehicle's undercarriage. Following the impact, the safety driver brought the vehicle to a controlled stop and pulled over to the side of the roadway. Due to the damage to the tire, the vehicle was not drivable. A tow truck was requested and the vehicle was subsequently removed from the scene.
