LExus RX450H Incident

May Mobility vehicle is traveling westbound in autonomous mode on [XXX], stopped at a red light. When the traffic light turns green, the subject vehicle accelerates up to approximately 10mph. Approximately halfway through the intersection of [XXX], the subject vehicle begins to slow down due to construction fencing that is intruding into the lane, eventually coming to a complete stop. The safety operator takes over manual operation via the accelerator pedal, but is struck from the rear by a Toyota pickup that was following. The Toyota was first struck by the Chevy vehicle traveling behind it, pushing the Toyota into the subject vehicle.
