The Mercedes-Benz vehicle was traveling southbound in a parking lot located at [XXX], Santa Clara, CA 95051 when the driver engaged L3 ADS system for a few seconds. The driver then disengaged L3 ADS and continued to drive in conventional mode. The vehicle was manually braked and came to a complete stop. At this time, a Chevrolet Camaro parked perpendicular to the right of the vehicle, reversed from their parking spot and made contact with the right middle panel of the Mercedes-Benz.
