Cadillac CT6 Incident

On December [XXX], 2024, a 2019 Cadillac CT6 was travelling west on [XXX], in Grapevine, Texas with Super Cruise engaged and active. According to OnStar audio recordings, the vehicle left the highway and crashed into the right off-road culvert. Crash data indicates frontal, right side, and rollover impacts with airbag and front seatbelt pretensioner deployments. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of crash. According to telematics data, at approximately 26 seconds prior to the crash, Super Cruise entered a Degraded Escalation state due to the Super Cruise road segment ending. At approximately 24 seconds prior to crash, Super Cruise entered a Disabled/Not Ready state due to driver takeover of the vehicle.
