Ford Mach E Incident

For the 10 day update, Aptiv has no additional information. NHTSA recently opened a Preliminary Evaluation PE24-012 into incidents involving Fords BlueCruise system which was prompted by two Standing General Order (SGO) reports submitted by Ford. Aptiv learned of the opening of PE24-012 through media coverage. Aptiv does not have independent knowledge of the underlying incidents beyond the information contained in NHTSAs Opening Resume for PE24-012. While Aptiv does not believe it has received notice as defined in the SGO, following a conversation with NHTSA on May 21, 2024, it is supplying this report for purposes of transparency and consistent with the spirit of the SGO. This report relates to the same incidents as those addressed by the following Report IDs: 33175-7402, 502-7268, and 502-7426.
