Toyota Highlander Incident

A Zoox vehicle in autonomy was stopped, yielding to cross traffic as it attempted to turn right from westbound [XXX] onto northbound [XXX]. As it began to creep forward, it came to a stop to yield to a vehicle turning left onto northbound [XXX]. The safety operator disengaged and continued to brake, when the Zoox vehicle was struck by the vehicle behind. The police were not called. The Zoox vehicle sustained minor damage and the safety operator reported back pain a few hours after the collision.
