Narrative
On February [XXX], 2026, a 2026 GMC Yukon was traveling northbound on [XXX] in Corning, Arkansas, with Super Cruise engaged and active. Crash data indicated a frontal impact occurred that deployed the front seat belt pretensioners and frontal airbags. The driver was wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash. According to OnStar recordings, the driver reported that he may have fallen asleep before the vehicle slid on ice and went into a ditch. The driver also reported that he may have a bloody nose. According to telematics data, Super Cruise entered an Enabled (not active) state 13 seconds prior to crash due to the driver taking steering control and to a Disabled/Not Ready state at the time of the crash
