At 7:04 PM (EST) on February [XXX], 2024, a Bolt EUV was travelling southwest on [XXX] in Springfield, Virginia, with Super Cruise engaged. According to OnStar audio recordings, the driver began making a lane change and made contact with the vehicle adjacent to him. According to vehicle telematics, the driver side and frontal airbags and pretensioner deployed. Super Cruise was active 13 seconds prior to the crash. A subject vehicle speed of 44 mph was recorded at the time of impact.
