HONDA Pilot Incident

Customer called in to report an accident she was involved in on [XXX]. She stated that she was driving on the highway with the ACC and LKAS on and another vehicle cut her off and she rear ended them. Customer sustained injuries to her knees as they jammed into the dashboard. She got an abrasion on her left knee and 8 stitches on her right knee. The front steering wheel airbag deployed. Customer advised that the vehicle will likely be deemed a total loss and shared that she is financing the vehicle. NOTE: We recently let NHTSA's Office of Chief Council know about this past incident from 2023.
