Hyundai Palisade Incident

A customer was operating the subject Palisade vehicle in the right-most lane of [XXX], a major California highway, at an alleged 65 MPH. The Highway Drive Assist ("HDA") feature allegedly caused the vehicle to inadvertently steer into the highway divider, resulting in a collision and minor injuries sustained by the operator. NASO is in process of reaching out to the customer for additional information. 10-day Update to 669-5395-1: No new information from customer. Vehicle is on HOLD for potential inspection in salvage yard. Monthly Update to 669-5395-2: No new information. HMA has requested additional documentation from the owner.
