Hyundai Santa Cruz Incident

A Hyundai Motor America associate was operating a 2024 Santa Cruz employee lease vehicle with the vehicle's Highway Drive Assist ("HDA"), Adaptive Cruise Control ("ACC"), and Lane Following Assist ("LFA") features engaged while driving on [XXX] near [XXX] in Addison, Wisconsin. At some point during operation, an adjacent vehicle started to impede on the associate's lane of travel. The driver manually performed an evasive maneuver and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle first struck a median, which caused the vehicle to go into a spin. The vehicle then struck a barrier and was subsequently struck by a heavy-duty truck.
