ZOOX Zoox Incident

An unoccupied Zoox autonomous vehicle (Vehicle 1), traveling northeast on [XXX] toward [XXX] in San Francisco, stopped next to parked vehicles with active hazard lights to pick up a passenger. Shortly after, one of the parked vehicles (Vehicle 2) was attempting to pull out of the parking spot when the Zoox vehicle's passenger approached and activated its doors. The Zoox vehicle's right rear door contacted Vehicle 2's front bumper. The right rear door on the Zoox vehicle was damaged; no injuries were reported, and police were not notified.
