HYUNDAI Ioniq 5 Incident

On April [XXX], 2026 at 1:44 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle(the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Austin, TX on [XXX] near [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was traveling westbound in the right lane in autonomous mode on [XXX] in when it approached a work truck which was blocking its path forward in the right lane. The AVRIDE AV signaled to switch to the left lane as it approached the stationary work truck blocking the right lane. While attempting to switch to the left lane, the left side of the AVRIDE AV made contact with the right side of a pickup truck which was driving straightforward in the left lane. Both vehicles sustained damage. No injuries were reported.
