HYUNDAI Ioniq 5 Incident

On April [XXX], 2026 at 12:16 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle (the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Dallas, Texas at the [XXX] dropoff circle. The AVRIDE AV was traveling southbound in autonomous mode at slow speeds in the left lane as it entered the dropoff zone at the [XXX]. As the AVRIDE AV entered the dropoff zone, an SUV parked and unloading in the right lane had its rear left door open. The AVRIDE AV began to slowly proceed past the parked SUV when the right mirror of the AVRIDE AV made contact with the open rear door of the SUV. Both vehicles sustained minor cosmetic damage. No injuries were reported.
