Ford Explorer Incident

On September [XXX], 2024, the driver of the Explorer was traveling east on [XXX] while using BlueCruise hands-free mode. The driver noticed traffic was stopped ahead and took control of the vehicle, bringing it to a stop. A following vehicle (#2) failed to stop and collided with the rear of the Explorer. Subsequently, vehicle #2 was rear-ended by another vehicle (#3). There were no airbags deployed, no injuries reported, and the subject vehicle (Explorer) was towed following the incident. Ford is currently investigating the situation and has confirmed that the vehicle was equipped with ADAS Level 2 and BlueCruise.
