Narrative
On July [XXX], 2025, a 2024 Cadillac Lyriq was traveling westbound on [XXX] in South Centre, Pennsylvania with Super Cruise engaged and active. According to OnStar audio recordings, the driver reported hitting a deer that crossed in front of the vehicle. Crash data indicated a frontal impact that deployed the seat belt pretensioners and airbags. The driver was wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash. According to telematics data, Super Cruise entered a "Disabled/Not Ready" state 1 second prior to crash due to a brake pedal press.
