Narrative
On October [XXX], 2025, a 2025 Cadillac Escalade was travelling northbound on [XXX] in Washington, Pennsylvania, with Super Cruise engaged and active. Crash data indicates there was a frontal impact that deployed the front seat belt pretensioners and airbags. The driver was wearing their seat belt at the time of crash. According to OnStar audio recordings, the driver alleged that prior to the crash, they looked down and then collided with a guardrail. Telematics data shows that Super Cruise entered a Disabled/Not Ready state 3 seconds prior to the crash due to driver take over, indicated by hands on the wheel and a brake pedal press.
