CHEVROLET Equinox Incident

On November [XXX], 2025, a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV was travelling northbound on [XXX] in South Fork, Colorado, with Super Cruise engaged and active. Crash data indicated a frontal impact occurred that deployed the front seat belt pretensioners and airbags. The driver and front passenger were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash. According to OnStar recordings, the vehicle ran off the road and no injuries were reported. At 13 seconds prior to the crash, Super Cruise changed state to Degraded Escalation due to a tight curvature in the road. At 7 seconds prior to the crash, Super Cruise changed to a Disabled/Not Ready state due to the driver braking.
