Chevrolet Bolt EUV Incident

On the afternoon of [XXX], 2023, a Chevrolet Bolt EUV was traveling northeast on [XXX] in Kinder, Louisiana. Per the OnStar recording, the Bolt driver noticed a truck traveling from the west heading east into the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX]. In an attempt to avoid the crash, the Bolt driver indicated he steered the vehicle from the left lane to the right lane. The truck did not stop at the intersection and struck the Bolt on the driver side of the vehicle, deploying the side airbag. Crash data indicates that Super Cruise was engaged and active at 16:22:47 EST. At 16:23:18 EST the driver took control of the vehicle. The crash occurred at 16:23:25 EST. A pre-crash speed of 61 mph was the last vehicle speed recorded, approximately 4 seconds prior to the crash.
