Chevrolet Traverse Incident

GM is submitting an updated report to an initial report, 540-8472-1, submitted on August [XXX], 2024. Based on new information from a police report, the subject vehicle was towed. On August [XXX], 2024, a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse was travelling west on [XXX], west of [XXX] in Vinton, Louisiana with Super Cruise engaged and active. The vehicle struck a concrete Jersey barrier. Crash data indicates frontal airbags and seat belt pretensioners deployed and both occupants were buckled at the time of crash. According to telematics data, approximately 11 seconds prior to crash, Super Cruise entered a Disabled/Not Ready state when the driver took control.
