GMC Yukon Incident

On April [XXX], 2024, a 2024 Yukon Denali was traveling southeast in the right lane on [XXX] in Broussard, LA with Super Cruise engaged. According to the OnStar call, the driver reported being involved in a vehicle rollover. Vehicle telematics data indicates this occurred at approximately 5:30 (local time), shortly after the vehicle entered the left (exit, turnaround) lane. Both front airbags, roof rail airbags, and pretensioners were deployed. Super Cruise was engaged and active 22 seconds prior to the crash, at which time Super Cruise entered a degraded escalation as the vehicle came to the end of the mapped roadway. At that time, vehicle notifications directed the driver to take control of the vehicle. Telematics data indicates the driver took control of the steering wheel at 21 seconds prior to crash. In the 8 seconds prior to the crash, telematics data shows three lane changes to the left. The vehicle was travelling at approximately 65 mph at the time of the incident.
