Toyota Highlander Incident

A Zoox vehicle (Vehicle 1), operating in autonomous mode, was gradually slowing to a stop for a red traffic signal on southbound [XXX] at the intersection with [XXX] in San Francisco when it was rear-ended by a passenger car (Vehicle 2) traveling directly behind. The Zoox vehicle operator then disengaged from autonomy. Both vehicles proceeded a few feet further and pulled over to exchange information. Both the Zoox vehicle and Vehicle 2 sustained minor damage. The police were not called. The Zoox vehicle operator reported back pain after the collision.
