Toyota Highlander Incident

A Zoox vehicle (Vehicle 1) was operating in autonomous mode, traveling east in the right lane of [XXX] between [XXX] and [XXX] in San Francisco. As it approached a double-parked passenger car (Vehicle 2) in the lane, the operator of the Zoox vehicle disengaged from autonomous driving. The operator then moved into the left lane and maneuvered around Vehicle 2. The driver of Vehicle 2 started moving just as the Zoox vehicle was re-entering the right lane, and shortly after, the right front area of the Zoox vehicle made contact with the left front area of Vehicle 2. The Zoox vehicle did not sustain any damage, but Vehicle 2 sustained moderate damage to its left front door. There were no reported injuries, and the police were not called.
