HYUNDAI Ioniq 5 Incident

On January [XXX], 2026 at 6:25 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle (the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Austin, Texas on [XXX] at the intersection of [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was traveling eastbound on [XXX] engaged in autonomous mode when it approached a pickup truck traveling in front of the AVRIDE AV in the same lane attempting to turn left at the intersection onto [XXX]. At the intersection, the pickup truck stopped which resulted in the front of the AVRIDE AV making contact with the rear of the pickup truck. The AVRIDE AV did not sustain any damage. No injuries were reported.
