HYUNDAI Ioniq 5 Incident

On January [XXX], 2026 at 2:34 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle (the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Dallas, Texas on [XXX] near [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was traveling southwestbound on [XXX] engaged in autonomous mode in the rightmost left-turn lane, preparing to execute a left turn onto [XXX]. A passenger car in the lane to the left of the AVRIDE AV went against the lane turn rules and continued straight into the AVRIDE AV’s lane of travel, resulting in the right side of the passenger car making contact with the left front of the AVRIDE AV. Uber passengers were present in the AVRIDE AV. No injuries were reported. both vehicles sustained damage. The ride was cancelled.
