HYUNDAI Ioniq 5 Incident

On February [XXX], 2026 at 4:50 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle (the "AVRIDE AV") was involved in a collision in Dallas, Texas on [XXX] near [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was traveling eastbound in slow traffic in the right lane on [XXX] engaged in autonomous mode when it began to switch into the left lane. A pickup truck in the lane next to the AVRIDE AV began to drive next to and mostly past the AVRIDE AV as the AVRIDE AV began to switch lanes. While the AVRIDE AV was attempting to switch to the left lane, the left front of the AVRIDE AV made contact with the right rear of the pickup truck. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported.
