HYUNDAI Ioniq 5 Incident

On February [XXX], 2026 at 3:40 PM, an AVRIDE autonomous vehicle (the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Dallas, Texas on [XXX] near [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was facing northwest on [XXX] in autonomous mode while stopped at the red light at the intersection with [XXX]. When the light turned green, the AVRIDE AV did not proceed forward because an SUV was blocking the path straight ahead. While the AVRIDE AV stayed stopped, a pickup truck behind the AVRIDE AV began to drive forward. This movement caused the front of the pickup truck to make contact with the rear of the AVRIDE AV. Both vehicles sustained damage. No injuries were reported.
