On June [XXX], 2025, a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling north on highway [XXX] in Springer, Oklahoma with Super Cruise engaged and active. Crash data indicates a frontal impact occurred that deployed the front seat belt pretensioners and airbags. The driver was buckled at the time of the crash. According to telematics data, Super Cruise was "engaged and active" 25 seconds prior to the incident, after that Super Cruise entered a "disabled/not ready" state and the driver then attempted to reengaged Super Cruise. Just before the crash, telematics data recorded a "disabled/not ready" state due to hands on the steering wheel and an applied counterclockwise steering torque.
