CADILLAC Vistiq Incident

On September [XXX], 2025, a 2026 Cadillac Vistiq was traveling southbound on [XXX] in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with Super Cruise engaged and active. Crash data indicated a rollover event occurred that deployed the front seat belt pretensioners and airbags. The driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. According to OnStar audio recordings, the driver alleged they were trying to retrieve a dropped cell phone when they lost control of the vehicle and struck another vehicle. Telematics data shows that Super Cruise was "Engaged and Active" but changed to "Enabled" 6 seconds prior to the crash, due to hands detected on the steering wheel and applied steering torque. A police report obtained on November 17, 2025 indicated there were no injuries and provided additional information regarding the crash partner, location of vehicle damage, and towing.
