On January [XXX], 2025, a 2023 Cadillac Escalade ESV was travelling east on [XXX], in New Carlisle, Indiana with Super Cruise engaged and active. According to the OnStar recording, the the vehicle left the road to the right and impacted a pole. Crash data indicates a frontal impact that deployed airbags and front seatbelt pretensioners. The driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of crash. According to telematics data, at approximately 24 seconds prior to the crash, Super Cruise entered a Disabled/Not Ready state due to a brake pedal press.
